The Siberian Blue Robin is one of the beautiful seasonal visitors that can be photographed at Chiang Dao Hut Bird Hide during the cooler months.
With its deep blue upperparts and clean white underparts, the male is particularly striking against the green moss and natural forest background around the hide. Its habit of spending time close to the ground can also provide wonderful opportunities for bird photography.
Photographed from November to February
At Chiang Dao Hut Bird Hide, we have photographed Siberian Blue Robins between November and February.
During this period, they may occasionally visit the area around the hide, moving quietly along the ground, rocks and vegetation while searching for food.
For photographers, this can provide opportunities to capture the bird at close range while remaining quietly inside the hide.
Bird Photography at Chiang Dao Hut
Our bird hide is designed for photographers who enjoy photographing wild birds in a quiet, natural setting.
Rather than guaranteeing particular species, we prefer to share photographs of birds that have actually visited our hide and the months in which we have photographed them.
Every visit can be different — and that is part of the experience of photographing wild birds.
Photography Record: November–February

Birds are wild and their movements vary naturally according to season, weather and food availability. Previous photography records do not guarantee future sightings.
