The route is selected according to your target species, birding experience, season, weather, recent bird activity and current field conditions.

One-day tours to Doi Ang Khang, Doi Lang and other destinations are available on request. These tours are quoted individually according to the destination, transportation requirements and agreed birding plan.

ONE-DAY BIRD PHOTOGRAPHY TOUR — CHIANG DAO

Designed for bird photographers who prefer more time to observe behaviour, wait quietly and work towards suitable photographic opportunities.

Portable hides and additional field equipment are provided when appropriate. Photography opportunities depend on the season, habitat, light, weather and natural bird behaviour.

Photography tours to other destinations are available on request and quoted individually.

Each itinerary is customized according to your target species, travel dates, birding or photography interests, weather and current field conditions.

Bird activity changes throughout the year.

Migration, rainfall, food availability, flowering and fruiting trees, breeding activity, weather, road access and habitat conditions can all affect where birds are found.

For this reason, exact routes and daily schedules remain flexible whenever possible. Guide SunTan uses recent field information and current conditions to select practical birding locations.

Early departures are often necessary because bird activity is usually highest during the first hours of daylight.

Wild birds move naturally, so sightings of particular species cannot be guaranteed.

The welfare of birds and protection of their habitats always come first.

During every tour, guests are requested to:
