One-Day Tours are private, small-group trips starting from Chiang Dao and limited to a maximum of 3 participants.
Multi-Day Tours are designed for longer birding journeys across Northern Thailand, normally starting and finishing in Chiang Mai, with groups of up to 7 participants and private VIP van transportation with a professional driver.

Designed for bird photographers who prefer to spend more time observing bird behavior, waiting quietly and working toward suitable photographic opportunities.
Photography tours include additional field support and equipment such as portable hides when appropriate.

MULTI-DAY BIRDING TOURS

Multi-Day Birding Tours are designed for birders who want to explore several habitats and major birding destinations across Northern Thailand.
Possible destinations include:
Chiang Dao • Doi Ang Khang • Doi Lang • Fang • Doi Inthanon and other suitable birding areas depending on the season and target species.
Multi-Day Tours normally start and finish in Chiang Mai, making them suitable for international visitors arriving through Chiang Mai International Airport or staying in Chiang Mai before their birding trip.
A private VIP van with professional driver is provided throughout the tour, allowing comfortable travel between birding destinations and accommodating groups of up to 7 participants.
There is no fixed itinerary. Each journey is planned according to your target species, season, recent bird activity, weather, habitat and current field conditions.

CHIANG MAI TRANSFER FOR ONE-DAY TOURS
Standard One-Day Birding and Bird Photography Tours start and finish in Chiang Dao.
If you would like transportation between Chiang Mai and Chiang Dao for a One-Day Tour, this can be arranged in advance.
Chiang Mai Pick-up / Drop-off — 1,500 THB per way
For example, Chiang Mai pick-up before your tour and return transportation to Chiang Mai afterward would require two transfers.
Multi-Day Birding Tours already include Chiang Mai pick-up and drop-off. No additional Chiang Mai transfer charge is required.
FLEXIBLE FIELD PLANNING
Birdwatching Depends on Nature
Wild bird activity changes throughout the year according to season, weather, food availability, habitat and local conditions.
For this reason, birding routes and destinations may be adjusted before or during the tour according to:
• Your target species
• Recent bird activity
• Seasonal bird movements
• Weather conditions
• Habitat conditions
• Road and access conditions
If you have a target species list, please send it before your trip.
Detailed field planning is normally completed closer to your tour date using the latest available local information.
This flexible approach allows the itinerary to respond to actual field conditions rather than following a fixed route regardless of bird activity.
All birds are wild and sightings cannot be guaranteed.

For Multi-Day Tours, please also provide your approximate Chiang Mai arrival and departure information when available.
3. Tour Planning
I will check availability and recommend an appropriate birding route based on your dates, target species and current seasonal conditions.
4. Confirm Your Tour
Once the dates, number of participants and tour arrangement have been agreed, I will confirm the total tour price.
5. Pay 50% Deposit
A 50% deposit of the total tour price is required to secure your booking.
6. Booking Confirmation
Once the deposit has been received and verified:
✔ Your booking will be officially confirmed
✔ Your reserved dates will be added to the availability calendar
✔ You can send or update your target species list
✔ Detailed field planning will continue closer to your tour date
Please do not make a deposit until your tour dates and price have been confirmed.
