June is part of Chiang Dao’s green season. The garden becomes lush and full of life, providing food and shelter for birds, butterflies and many other small creatures.
Example birds: Crimson Sunbird, Olive-backed Sunbird, White-rumped Shama, Oriental Magpie-Robin, Common Tailorbird, Black-crested Bulbul, Greater Racket-tailed Drongo, Asian Koel.
Rainy mornings can sometimes be surprisingly active once the rain stops.
